Frequently Asked Questions

At this point there haven't been many questions. Here are some that have been encountered, and some that may be wondered by users.

Why can't I connect?
Check to make sure you are running the correct version of the Minecraft Client. If so, remember you must be whitelisted to join the server; if you have any questions or problems connecting persist, contact timmc94 for assistance.

Why is PvP on?

The goal of this server is to bring people together in the fun of playing Minecraft with others, not to see who can outwit and outfight each other. However, as long as people don't abuse the ability to attack each other it can add to the experience for PvP to be on. Just don't go crazy attacking people, remember it is for fun!

Can I have a horse, mule, or donkey?

Of course! Just don't take any that are tied up, labeled, or have a saddle and/or armor on them. Don't steal each other's steeds!

Are there NPC Villagers on the server?

Structures are turned on, so they're out there somewhere. If you find any, please don't destroy their homes or kill them.

Can I build in the Nether?

You are welcome to build secondary structures in the Nether. Since beds explode in the Nether, houses are probably not a great idea; it's also quite bit more hostile there. The same rules for building in the overworld apply to the Nether.

Are we going to fight the Enderdragon and/or Wither?

We may eventually confront some bosses. For the time being though, avoid entering The End or building a Wither boss.

Can I be in Creative mode?
The plan for the server is to keep it as a genuine Survival experience. Because of this, permission to use Creative mode is restricted and will not be used unless a massive disaster prompts its use for repair.

Can I be OP?

Again, Survival mode gameplay is a main part of the server. Please do not ask to be opped, the purpose of that power is mainly just for server administration purposes and upkeep.

Can I invite my friends to the server?

If you have friends interested in joining the server, talk to timmc94. He is the only one who can add people to the whitelist. Do not share the server IP with anyone; timmc94 will share it with people if he whitelists them.
